Support relief efforts in Burma and China

Relief efforts are underway in response to the devastation caused by the Sichuan earthquake.  We especially want to highlight the efforts of Chengdu Tongle Health Counseling & Service Centre, a local grassroots NGO in Chengdu, Sichuan that is providing desperately-needed aid to people living with HIV/AIDS in the region. The Chinese government has invested tremendous materials, human resource and financial support to the area suffered the terrible earthquake. Great success has been achieved and thousands of victims have been saved and cared. But the situation is still bad.
1) The trasportation situation is tough. A great deal of materials including food, medicine and commodity can’t reach some far areas.
2) The previous materials are arranged without plenty information, therefore some materials are overmuch, some are lacking, such as adult underware, pillow and electrinic fan.
3) We are entrusted by severial domestic and overseas NGO to purchase urgent materials in Chengdu and send it to the area.
4) As we have found that PLWHA have suffered worse in the disaster, we have proposed a national charity campaign with MSM and PLWHA organizations in China.
5) If any person want to donate money or materials through us, we promise that all donation will be delivered to victims. No administration fee or others will be charged.

In Burma
In Burma, international agencies estimate over 100,000 are dead. Despite resistance by the Burmese military government, international aid is beginning to trickle in to help the thousands without food, water or shelter. Please give as generously as you can to the nonprofit organizations listed below. The list of nonprofit organizations in Burma is provided by Edith Mirante, a longtime human rights advocate. Global Health Access Program  - They are funding indigenous emergency teams currently providing aid.
Thirst-Aid - Many cyclone victims are in urgent need of clean drinking water. Thirst-Aid is producing filters and distributing safe water.
Medical Emergency Relief International (MERLIN) - They provide emergency medical aid and are on the ground and working in the Delta.
Avaaz - Currently the only shelters for cyclone victims are Buddhist monasteries. Avaaz is sending support to these Buddhist temples.
MercyCorps - They enable community-led and market-driven recovery and development.
US Campaign for Burma - They are providing relief aid and advocating for international intervention to save lives in Burma.
