Khine Su Win joined Asia Catalyst in 2017 as a program officer and committed to build the documentation and advocacy capacity among key populations in Myanmar. She has been working collaboratively with China Program Teams and South East Asia Regional Team. She also coordinates with program teams, partners and other key stakeholders.

Prior to Asia Catalyst, she worked as a social science researcher in Myanmar Oxford Clinical Unit and also worked as a consultant to deliver a scoping study to assess community engagement (as part of Global Fund’s new funding model) and an end line evaluation on the Local Resilience for Peace project. She worked side-by-side with sex workers and men sex with men when she managed the clinic in Targeted Outreach Program of Population Services International/Myanmar from 2012 to 2014.

Khine Su completed her Masters of Global Heath from Thammasat University, Thailand in 2015 and submitted her final thesis on Policy Reform of sex work: Criminalization and decriminalization in the context of feminist ideologies, social determinants of health and human rights. Her paper was awarded best poster presentation during the 4th Annual International Conference on New Voices in Global Studies and Wellbeing 2016 in Thailand. She graduated from University of Medicine No.2, Yangon in 2010. Khine Su is fluent in English and Burmese.
